HOW DOES GOD SPEAK TO US?

Week 3

 
 

During Your Group:

  • Confirm date and location (if different from your normal spot) of the prayer experience and ensure it's communicated to the group.

  • Discuss what the prayer experience will be like.

    • Will be around 3 hours in length

    • Will include both corporate & individual prayer

    • They will need to bring their Bible, Rooted workbook, pen/pencil, journal or notebook

    • Will your group be fasting (optional)?  Check out fasting information in the facilitator's guide on pages 87-94 and the Fasting Guide on Rooted-Resources page These notes are also located on the rooted-resources page on our website.  Your group members can see these by going to thirdcityc.org/rooted-resources (QR code on front cover).

      • Food, Social Media, Technology, etc.

      • Breaking the fast - We encourage your group to eat together afterwards.

Reminders:

  • Pray for your group members by name!

  • Lead out in discussion during the week.

  • Continue to take notes during your group time.  These will be used for the prayer of blessing in week 10.
