Gerry Ruttman Wife: Janet Service Manager at Kirschner Implement Years at TCCC: 20  |  Years as Elder: 18 Looking to the future with faith that Jesus will be with me has been reinforced by looking back and seeing how Jesus carried me through difficult times.  Any time Janet and I have decided to step up our spiritual life there have been obstacles put in the way.  With prayer, determination not to turn back and faith that Jesus will carry us, those obstacles were overcome.  While at the times things seemed tough, we look back and realize that we were being prepared for service ahead.

Dennis Tolen Wife: Sherril Paint Sales Representative for PPG Paint Years at TCCC: 41  |  Years as Elder: 14 I had cancer in 1983 and the elders came to see me during recovery and prayed for my health. In 1997, I heard a sermon about where do I want to be, sitting on the outside looking in or get involved and grow closer to God. I choose to get closer. I feel stronger every time I see Third City Christian Church members, attenders and staff give so generously of their time and talents to help others in need.
