THIRD CITY BOARD OF ELDERS

Kent Mann
Wife: Cyndee
Professor of Practice - University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Attending Since 1992 | Elder Since 1992

I was born and raised in the Christian Church. I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 12 years old. Since my graduation from college in 1975, Cyndee and I have served in five different Christian churches in Kansas and Nebraska. I am committed to living a life worthy of His calling and grounded in His Word. I have two “life verses” from the Bible; Mark 5:36 and I John 4:4.

Bryan Stutzman
Wife: Colleen
Battalion Chief with GI Fire department
Attending Since 2005 | Elder Since 2013

He has put a great desire in my heart to serve people in need. I truly believe that He has placed me in the job I am in today. It's a gift from GOD to have worked for the Fire Department for 32 years. I see how Jesus served his whole life, and the older I get, and the more I learn about Jesus, the more I truly believe this is where he placed me.

Gerry Ruttman
Wife: Janet
Service Manager at Kirschner Implement
Attending TCCC Since 1997 | Elder Since 1988

Looking to the future with faith that Jesus will be with me has been reinforced by looking back and seeing how Jesus carried me through difficult times. Any time Janet and I have decided to step up our spiritual life there have been obstacles put in the way. With prayer, determination not to turn back and faith that Jesus will carry us, those obstacles were overcome. While at the times things seemed tough, we look back and realize that we were being prepared for service ahead.

Del Friesen
Wife: Colleen

Attending TCCC Since 2000 | Elder Since 2011

I am so blessed to have a relationship with God and be able to explore that with those around me. I feel that loving God and loving others is the grandest calling on my life.

Brad Pattison
Wife: Lisa
Director of Engineering at Merrick Machine Company
Attending TCCC Since 1998 | Elder Since 2011

Serving as an Elder at Third City Christian Church is a humbling experience. I’ve grown to admire these servants of our King who lead as they follow Him. I believe God is working through and among this church as we all march forward in unity to glorify Christ Jesus! My faith has been tested and strengthened through the ministry and service to my Savior and King and this body of believers.

Bruce Eberle
Wife: Janna
Senior Relationship Manager at Rabo AgriFinance
Attending TCCC Since 2007 | Elder Since 2020

Throughout my life, the presence of God’s hand has been evident to me. I am blessed with my perfect spouse, many friends and relatives that have encouraged and coached me along the way, and challenges that cause me to rely more upon Jesus in every aspect of my life. Serving as elder is one way I can serve and share with the family at TCCC; we are all in this work together though we each have various roles and abilities to pour into the work God has placed before TCCC. I feel very blessed by the opportunity to serve the people of TCCC as elder.

Brian Mustion Wife: Angie Co-owner of Central Nebraska Bobcat Attending TCCC Since 2001 | Elder Since 2020I am both humbled and thankful to have the opportunity to serve our LORD alongside the other Elders and our church family as we seek to do HIS will serving our community and each other together. I have been fortunate to witness the wisdom, love of God’s people, and the focus of fulfilling our purpose as a church that exists in our Elders prior to being called to join them. It is truly a blessing and a privilege to be a part of a church family that enjoys an outpouring Holy Spirit to lead in our calling to fulfill the Great Commission.

Elder In-Person Prayer

The Bible gives us many examples of the Elders approaching God on behalf of others in prayer. If you would like the Elders at TCCC to pray with you in person, they are available to pray for you and those you love. Please put in a request for them to contact you to minister to you in this way!
