Q: What is the Overflow campaign?
A:
Overflow is a church-wide initiative rooted in the love of Jesus, for each other and for “everyone else”

Q: What will the funds from Overflow be used for?
A:
Gifts to Overflow will launch construction of a new worship center that will double our seating capacity. At the same time, we’ll also double our parking lot capacity.

Q: What will the cost be? And how will we pay for it?
A:
Early estimates put construction in the $13-$15 million range. Together, we’ll raise as much as possible through Overflow. While we anticipate taking on debt, we’ll do everything possible to pay off debt as quickly as possible.

Q: How will this impact our General Budget giving?
A:
Overflow giving is separate from our normal tithes and offerings. Our General Budget will continue to be funded annually throughout all three years of the campaign.

Q: What about space for our Next Generation Ministry?
A:
As soon as we move our Sunday services into the new facility, Next Gen will have access to our current worship center, greatly increasing their ministry space.

Q: How can I participate in Overflow?
A:
Be present throughout March. Prayerfully consider your giving. Faithfully commit as God leads.

Q: What if I’ve never given to Third City before?
A:
This is a perfect time to take that step of faith. When we honor God by giving back a portion of what He’s given us, we show Him…and ourselves that we trust and appreciate His provision!

Q: How is Third City approaching generosity in this campaign?
A:
Overflow is not about pressure or equal gifts, it’s about equal sacrifice and shared vision. We’re asking each person and family to prayerfully consider what it looks like for their love to grow and overflow in response to what God is doing among us.
