What is the Overflow?
Overflow is a church-wide initiative rooted in the love of Jesus, for each other and for everyone else. Together, we will step out in faith and generosity to reach more people with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
What will the funds from Overflow be used for?
New worship center with ±1500 capacity
Repurpose gym space for NextGen ministry
Additional lobby, meeting, and check-in spaces
space for a new baptism experience
Double the paved parking
Additional seating and improved functionality for our Broken Bow campus.
What will the cost be? And how will we pay for it?
Early estimates put construction in the $13-$15 million range. Together, we’ll raise as much as possible through this 3-year Overflow campaign. We will pay off any additional debt as quickly as possible, as we have in the past.
How will this impact our General Budget giving?
Overflow giving is above and beyond our regular giving. Our General Budget will continue to be funded through your tithes and offerings.
What about space for our Next Generation Ministry?
As soon as we move Sunday services into the new facility, our NextGen ministry will have access to the current worship center, greatly increasing their ministry capacity.
How can I participate in Overflow?
Be present throughout March. Prayerfully consider your giving, asking God to guide you. Be ready to faithfully step into a 3-year Overflow Commitment on March 22nd, Commitment Sunday.
What if I’ve never given to Third City before?
This is a perfect time to take that step of faith! When we honor God by giving back a portion of what He’s given us, we show Him and ourselves that we trust and appreciate His provision.
How is Third City approaching generosity in this campaign?
Overflow is not about pressure or equal gifts, it’s about equal sacrifice and shared vision. We’re asking each person and family to prayerfully consider what it looks like for their love to grow and overflow in response to what God is doing among us.
