Here at Third City, we love taking students to camp. Our church and our student ministry totally believe when there is a change of pace, change of place, change of perspective, God can do some incredible things. Going to camp provides students with an incredible opportunity for SPACE. Space where God can come in and work. Enter Kingdom Rally, our church-wide effort to send as many students to camp as possible.
Now, when we budget for camps, we always include the opportunity to help students who otherwise wouldn't be able to go, and we know we'll always be able to do that because you and our Third City family have seen that these camp experiences change lives. You've generously removed the financial barrier for a LOT of students. Kingdom Rally not only supplements the total budget for these moments, but provides financial aid to families who need help getting their students to camp.
We challenge our students constantly to invite friends to what God is doing through element and through CIY camps in the summer, and want to invite you in as a parent to that challenge as well. You probably have a camp story from your kiddos going to camp, maybe it was a big part of your kid's life. Would you share that experience with other parents and offer them the same opportunity for their kids? There's power in the invite - especially from parent to parent. Because of the generosity of our church through Kingdom Rally - we will be ready to take as many students as you can possibly invite.
Here are a few more ways you can be a part of the Kingdom Rally.
Would you be willing to pray for a student up until and through the week of camp? We have key tags available at the doors with names on them. We've heard stories that some of you still have your key tags and are still praying for that student. Incredible!
Second, would you give financially to Kingdom Rally to help students get to camp? For reference, the full cost is $684 to get a student to MOVE or MIX. The beauty of Kingdom Rally is when we join together, it can make a huge difference in the lives of middle school and high school students here in Central Nebraska.
Thanks for being a part of Kingdom Rally and encouraging the next generation of the church!
