CELL PHONES:
We understand that parents and students have become very dependent on staying connected with cell phones. One of the goals of camp is to get people face to face in conversation with each other, and we are trying to eliminate as many obstacles as possible to achieve this goal. In addition to this cell phone reception is VERY inconsistent, and to be honest camp is a great place for electronics to get broken/lost. So we are encouraging students to leave their phones at home. If students bring their cell phones we are asking that they keep them in their rooms during the day. In case of an emergency every adult will have their cell phone and you will be provided with those numbers and the landline number to the camp. If you have more questions about the “why” behind this don’t hesitate to contact us!
