What do you love most about your job?
•I get to work with some of the best humans in the world, and when a young person chooses to point their life towards Jesus... that is simply the best.
What are your favorites hobbies?
•I like to rebuild things that are broken, I love the outdoors, and exploring the process of a coffee bean getting from the side of a volcanic mountain to the cup on my desk is so intriguing.
Favorite food?
•This is impossible to answer... I LOVE FOOD... the best way for me to answer this is that I would love to explore the food truck scene in Portland, eat a hotdog from a stand in Times Square, down a Philly in Philly from a food cart, and watch a sunset over a pile of shrimp in New Orleans. Food is about relationship and experience.
Favorite drink?
•A naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from the Guji region. 10g of medium to finely ground coffee in an Aeropress, add 30g of boiling water to bloom for 1 minute, add 130g of boiling water, at 2 minutes swirl the slurry, at 2:30 press slowly until all the contents have been pressed out. Allow to stand for approximately 10 minutes, then enjoy. (The is the Pfunk method)
What's one fun/interesting fact about you?
•Contrary to popular belief, I can go days without showering and still not have stinky pits.
