Welcome to an Uncommon Campaign

In March of 2015, our church began a journey of using the God-given talents, gifts, and abilities of our community to make room for more. We recognized the inadequacy of our current facilities as a growing church and need more space for ministry. We had a vision for a place for people to "simply be", to be in conversation, community, and relationship. Answering God's call of continuing to reach our city, we dreamt up a space that was truly "uncommon".

The Plaza

The Plaza is the newest addition to our campus. It serves as both a open gathering space, and also a great front door for welcoming our community. Besides the typical spaces of home and work, The Plaza's purpose is to serve as that next place where you, your family, friends, and small group can "simply be". With a full coffee shop featuring locally roasted Hardy Coffee Co. coffee, open seating, and great wifi, you can spend time catching up with a friend, digging into a good book, or looking out over the 13th St. view from our second story mezzanine. The Plaza also serves as a fully functioning second venue for worship services and events. The Plaza will be open to the public throughout the week as well as Sunday morning.

The Worship Center

Our worship center is also getting a much-needed update. Through some deconstruction and clever handiwork, the room is gaining auditorium-style, tiered seating that will allow room for an additional 200 people. An audio/video upgrade will also meet the room's full potential of communicating the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. This will enhance the worship experience Sunday mornings and also throughout the week during our next-generation programming.

The Office and Reception Space

As our church has grown, so has our staff. By rerouting our main atrium flow, we have repurposed hallways into additional offices, which will be used as a dedicated next generation staff work space. A formal and secure weekday entrance will now be located in the front of Kid City, making a convenient drop off and pick up point for children in our Connect program, Our Kid's Christian Preschool, and Wednesday night Shine. New restrooms are also a welcomed feature of the reception area, providing facilities in the center of the building layout.
