Kid City is created just for kids! It is filled with exciting environments designed to create a fun place for our kids to learn about God. Engaging teaching methods combined with awesome volunteers who care about kids make Kid City a place where parents can know their children are building strong spiritual foundations.
Your child's safety is just as important to us as it is to you. In Kid City, we go to great lengths to create safe environments so that you and your kids have a great experience. From matching parent and child security tags to every volunteer being screened with an interview and a federal background check, we make sure that all our kids are learning about God in the safest environment.
Kid City is the place to be!

Shine Wednesdays / 6:30-7:45pm
Shine is a high energy, creative program geared to teach kids Biblical truths that will help them grow in wisdom, faith and friendships. Kids meet together in a large group setting to engage in worship and experience God’s word through creative, relevant lesson. Then students break into age appropriate small groups. These small groups are led by adult leaders that apply the lesson through group discussion, fun filled activities and prayer.
Shine meets during the school year September to April and is for 4 year olds (must be 4 by the end of September) – 5th grade. Contact Shannon Hatfield for more information.
Kids Ministry Mission
We will be partnering with Mission of Hope International (MOHI) to help build a school, Kariobangi in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kariobangi is located in a slum community of approximately 40,000-50,000 people. There were no schools and no churches in this community when a team from Third City went there in May. However, the community was begging for a school and a church. Kariobangi school started in September and has 161 kids in it at this time.
All of the children live in the slums in very unfortunate conditions. Their parents often live off of $1 - $2 per day. The families live in very small shanties. That shanty would house 5-10 people in it with no electricity or running water.
When the children are accepted into a MOHI school they receive a Christian education, 2 meals per day (6 days a week), medical and dental services, books, uniforms and extracurricular activities.
Our goal is buy 20 teacher desks for Kariobangi from January 6th – May 26th. Each teachers desk cost $100.00 so our overall goal will be $2,000.00.
