We believe in One God, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (Mt. 5:16; 45; 6:1-4, 8, 9; Jm. 1:17; Jn. 1:1; 4:24; 14:9; 14:16-20; 2 Pt. 2:21).
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of all things visible and invisible (Gen. 1:1 ff.; Ac. 17:24-28; Hb. 11:3).
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s One and Only Son, and the only Savior of mankind (Jn. 1:14; 3:16; I Jn. 4:9; 2 Pt. 3:18) and-
-who was born Jesus of Nazareth, both fully human and fully God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary (Mt. 1:18; 21:11; Jn. 1:14; 19:19; Ro. 5:15-17; Col. 2:9; I Jn. 1:1; Lk. 1:26-38)
-who suffered and was crucified by Pontius Pilate (Lk. 23:1-46)
-who died, was buried, and who rose again bodily from the grave on the third day (Lk. 23:44-24:8; I Cor. 15:3-8)
-who ascended to heaven and now sits at the right hand of His Father (Lk. 22:69; Ac. 1:1-9; Col. 3:1)
-who will return to earth to judge both the living and the dead (Mt. 24:36-42; Jn. 14:1-3; Ac. 1:10-11; 39-42; 1 Pt. 4:5).
We believe that man, created by God, willfully sinned against God and is consequently lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ (Ac. 4:12; Ro. 3:23).
We believe that one receives God’s grace by putting trust (faith) in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ and being baptized by immersion into Christ, but that none of these is sufficient in and of itself for salvation (Ro. 5:1-2; 6:1-7; Lk. 24:45-47; Ac. 3:19; 17:30; 2 Pt. 3:9; Mt. 10:32; Ro. 10:9; Ph. 2:11; 1 Jn. 4:15; Ac. 2:38; Gal. 3:27; Col. 2:12; 1 Pt. 3:21).
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is active and operating in the world today as an agent of the triune God (Jn. 16:5-15; Ac. 1:7-8; Ro. 8:26-27) and- -who indwells in every Christian (I Cor. 3:16; 6:19; 2 Tim. 1:14).
We accept the Bible to be God’s Holy inspired Word. I believe that God inspired the original writings of the scripture, and that they are without error (Mk. 12:36; Jn. 14:26; 16:12-16; Ac. 1:16; I Co. 2:12-13; 2 Tm. 3:14-16; 2 Pt. 1:20-21).
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ was founded by Christ on the Day of Pentecost, and consists of all Christians everywhere (Mt. 16:13-18; Ac. 2:14-47).
