Check-In:
*Children nursery-4th grade need to be checked-in via the computer. If you are new, please visit the green Kid City counter where volunteers will be glad to assist you. Check-in begins at 6:20 p.m.
Drop Off & Pick Up:
*Please drop off and pick up in the following rooms:
*Nursery - KC D
*Preschool (3's * 4's) - KC A
*5's and K's - KC C
*1st and 2nd Girls - KC E
*1st and 2nd Boys - KC F
*3rd and 4th Girls - KC H
*3rd and 4th Boys - KC I
*5th Grade small group meets in KC J and students are dismissed on their own.
*Extended Care (EC) is available from 7:45 - 8:30p.m., for children whose parents attend an on or off site Bible Study or are Element sponsors. Children, nursery through preschool (3's & 4's), can be picked up in KC Room D (nursery). Other elementary children can be picked up in KC Room G. If you need EC, please indicate so by checking the box labeled "extended care" when checking your child in via the computer.
Format:
*Please note that preschool and 5th grade small group activities are altered from this format.
1). 6:30-6:45-Children begin in their small group. Time for attendance, memory verses, discussion about the week, and the "SHINE Sign."
2). 6:45-7:15-Children experience large group teaching through singing and an interactive Bible lesson.
3). 7:15-7:45-Children go back to their small groups. This time reinforces the nightly theme through additional activities, discussions, games, and or crafts.
Scripture Memory:
*Each child (1st-4th grade) will be issued a point card. Children will get points for four things.
1). Attending-5 pts.
2). Reciting memory verse-10 pts.
3). Bringing Bible-5 pts.
4). Bringing a friend-10 pts.
Please work on memory work with your children at home. To receive their points, children can recite the verse to their leader during the first 15 minutes of class.
Offering:
Children can bring offering each Wednesday night and is collected during the first 15 min. of class. Special information is sent home regarding the specific mission being supported.

GodTime Cards:
Given to children in 3rd-5th grade as a way to "do" what they have learned at SHINE.
