Goals and Objectives: -Provide a supportive and caring Christian environment for your child so that he or she can learn about God and His Word.
-Help your child learn to get along with other children and adults in situations outside of the family home.
-Learn to follow directions
-Develop healthy bodies through large and small motor activities
-Provide outlets for creative expression through art, music, literature, dramatic play and games.
-Develop skills needed for school readiness, such as using scissors, glue, paint, crayons, etc.
-Introduce basic concepts such as shapes, colors, numbers 1-20, and the alphabet.
-Develop self-awareness by learning to write their name, learning to become indepentdent in dressing, and identifying family members.
-Provide an awareness of nature - animals, life cycles, plants, weather and seasons.
-Provide an awareness of neighborhoods, helpers, work and play places.
-Introduce concepts of contrats and relationships, such as warm/cold, big/small, over/under, beside, near and away.
